To celebrate 10 years of Amsterdam Alternative and 750 years Amsterdam AA is organizing the Vrije Ruimte Festival 2025. The festival will take place in 10 different locations (OT301, GROND, Ru Paré, Cavia, Cinetol, OCCII, Treehouse, De Appel, Plantage Dok, Het Groene Veld) at 10 different dates between March and September.

The first event will take place on Saturday 29th of March at the OT301.
We’ll start in the Ventilator cinema (2nd floor) with the screening of Capital B, a docu series about the transformation of Berlin after the wall came down in 1989. After the screening we will have a talk with the maker of the docu Florian Optiz, the founder of club Tresor Johnny Stiegler and Andreas Krüger who has been involved in the Roundtable initiative that connects real estate people to artists, activists, city government etc. in order to discuss how city owned real estate and land will be developed. In this talk we will explore the option of initiating a similar round table in Amsterdam.
Entrance free, starts at 15:00 hrs
After the program in the cinema we will continue downstairs with music, food and drinks in the restaurant.
From 21:00-03:00 hrs we’ll have a kick ass line up in the concert/club space.
