✊❤️🔥📢 Les Soulevements de la Terre will be in Amsterdam next week! At their stops across the NL, Germany, and the Czech Republic, they will provide insights into their experiences, strategies and forms of organization.
In France, the @soulevements.de.la.terre (“uprisings of the earth”) movement is successfully fighting against destructive industrial infrastructure and for social justice. It is supported by a strong base of over 100,000 small farmers, trade unionists, activists and residents of contested territories.
Despite the extreme state repression against them, the “Uprisings of the Earth” are an inspiring example of collective resistance. You may have seen the impactful pictures of the people protesting against the mega-bassines in Saint-Soline.
🌱 This is a great opportunity to learn from the experiences of this strong grassroots alliance, and to discuss and connect with activists across borders in the struggle for land & water justice.
