This evening closes with Frank Rosaly’s amazing Ruidoscuro quartet\, super in shape after their Belgian tour organized by SITP\, full of power\, with transcendental raw energy. \nLida Brouskari solo\nLida Brouskari graces us solo\, on the keys. A skilled pianist who started at a very early age\, Brouskari has been making waves in the local scene in various formations\, including her band Nufaro\, which blends avant-garde pop sensibilities with experimental and ’70s rock influences.\nLida Brouskari – keys \n\nHristo Goleminov / Siebren Smink\nHristo Goleminov is a saxophonist\, composer\, and multi-instrumentalist with a keen interest in free improvisation. For this event\, he’s in full interplay with close friend and long-time collaborator Siebren Smink\, a guitarist and composer who was steeped in psych rock as a kid. They will play new compositions by Goleminov\, exploring baroque-inspired counterpoint\, oddly singable melodies\, and interwoven structures within the low confines of the baritone sax and guitar.\nHristo Goleminov – saxophone | Siebren Smink – guitar \nRuidoscuro\nFrank Rosaly’s Ruidoscuro presents strict sequential patterns against improvisation to inhabit ritualistic musical movement. The music tells a dark\, haunting story in a richly layered context of spinning polyrhythms\, bi-tonal melodic material\, and pivoting harmonic structures in a new music that defies centralization.
