Come share your very local presence with us!\n\nDokzaal\, Plantage Doklaan 8-12\n\n\n\n\n\n🌻 MIRIAM ELHAJLI 🌻\n\n\n\n\n\n“A haunting voice” – The New York Times\n\n\n\n\nMiriam Elhajli is a singer-poet\, musicologist\, and geographer of Venezuelan and Moroccan heritage based in Flatbush\, Brooklyn. A part of the avant-garde and folkloric communities of New York City\, she has performed with artists such as Anne Waldman\, Shahzad Ismaily\, Raven Chacone\, Blake Mills\, Victor Campbell\, and Orquesta Akokán. \n \n\nShe has performed locally at Lincoln Center\, The Whitney Museum\, Joe’s Pub\, and the Noguchi Museum alongside farms\, basements\, and friends homes. Elhajli is a band member of local punk\, cumbia\, and noise bands and is releasing her fifth album this year on Numina Records\, a label she founded to aid in the documentation of women’s music and poetics in the Maghreb and around the world.\n\nElhajli works as a researcher at The Association For Cultural Equity founded by Alan Lomax\, and as a public school teacher at Citylore\, a non-profit in Manhattan dedicated to documenting folklore and oral histories. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWebsite\n\nBandcamp\nInstagram\n\n\n—\n\n🍨 SCOOPS OF GLORY 🍨\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter the success of Happy Fuji News\, Santé Loisirs Pictures brings you a new movie edited live with more than 500 original woodblock prints (including commercials)..\n🍨 SCOOPS OF GLORY  🍨\nOut December 7\, 2025\n\nDirected and live-edited by Bob Nichols\nOriginal Soundtrack by Raphaël Desmarets\n\nPitch: “A performance artist turned mayor sparks a war among ice-cream shops after the passing of a controversial bill.”\n \nVoice actors: Cammisa Buerhaus\, Luke Csehak\, Jason Harvey\, Lukas May-Floor\, Amanda Psyhojos\, Pit Bukowski\, Joseph Thomas\, David Satalov\, Suvi Karjalainen\, Andrew Baker\, Kaylee Sabatino\, Monya Beutelspacher\, Elaine Williams\, Jen Johnson & Nadya Now.\nDuration: 45min\nGenre: Crime/Thriller\nLanguage: English (no subtitles)\nLetterboxd\n\nInstagram\n\n—\n\n\n🌞 Robert Edmondson 🌞\n\n\nhttps://edmondson.bandcamp.com/album/strange-durations \nhttps://edmondson.bandcamp.com/track/greeting-to-saud-brother-mccoy-tyner-2 \nhttps://www.edmondsonmusic.com \nRobert Edmondson’s limited solo output continues to hone his interest in singular harmonic development\, and the friction between melody and meaning. Due out in the beginning of March\, his first solo release\, The Waltz\, interrogates his addiction to 3/4 time. \nHe is one half of the songwriting duo with his brother\, Edmondson\, whose follow up record\, Bughouse\, will be released in April. He is also a member of improvisational electro-jazz group\, A Family Portrait. Robert teaches music in Gainesville\, FL.
