Or meet new people at the bar.\n\n\n  \n18u bar open\n19u Benefit Dinner by Het Laatste Avondmaal / 3-course vegan meal on a donation basis\n  \nOver Het Laatste Avondmaal\nZe mogen zeggen dat we doemdenkers en pessimisten zijn\, maar we zijn optimistisch en vol hoop\, we verlangen naar een laatste avondmaal voor deze wereld en nodigen iedereen uit om haar einde met ons te vieren en een nieuwe wereld op te bouwen.\nIedere laatste donderdag van de maand koken we Het Laatste Avondmaal. Een goede vegan 3 gangen maaltijd voor iedereen\, tegen donatie\, omdat eten altijd collectief zou moeten zijn. Dus geef wat je wilt\, kunt missen of nix.\nMaar we doen dit niet alleen omdat we koken zo leuk vinden\, je bijdrage aan het eten geven we aan initiatieven die we graag ondersteunen\, die al werken aan een wereld zonder onderdrukking en grenzen\, zonder bajessen of bazen en waarin iedereen het leven vorm geeft zoals die dat wil. \nBrievenbus\nBij de ingang van het cafe staat een ‘brievenbus’ en ligt informatie over mensen die gevangen zitten omdat zij vechten voor een andere wereld\, tegen de huidige ongelijke verhoudingen. We bring together culture\, stories and talent\, while creating a space to meet\, connect\, share and celebrate. \nTogether\, we acknowledge what is happening there\, but above all\, we stand alongside the people affected\, here and there. \nTICKETS AVAILABLE HERE \n3\,50 market [kids under 12 free] \n29\,95 dinner [including market] \n15\,00 take away dinner [including market] \n_____________________________________ \n14:00 — Market Opening \nThe afternoon begins with Nour el-Nono\, founder of the Nour Foundation\, opening our Palestinian market. Browse authentic products from the West Bank\, including olive oil\, dates\, and ceramics from Fairtrade Palestine\, alongside handmade accessories by Mary Ann Jaraisy. Get henna painting by Tahiera & Nazierah\, and let your children enjoy our Kids Corner\, where they can make bracelets\, paint\, and learn about Palestinian culture. \nA short video will be shown during the market\, highlighting the Nour Foundation’s ongoing projects on the ground in Gaza. \nAlso a small photo exhibition (from private collection of Nour el-Nono and her family) highliting the differences of their life before and after the year 2023. \n14:30–16:30 — Music & Shopping \nDJ Shadow spins Arabic music while you shop\, browse the market\, and enjoy drinks at the bar. \n16:30-16:50 — Stand-up comedy performance \nFaris Abusada is a Palestinian comedian living in Amsterdam. Hailing from Bethlehem\, his comedy blends personal experiences with cultural and political insights\, offering a unique perspective on Palestinian life. Known for addressing family expectations\, cultural identity\, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict\, Faris brings both humor and thoughtfulness to his performances\, bridging cultural gaps and shedding light on important issues. \n17:30–18:30 — Dabke Performance & Workshop \nWatch a live demonstration of dabke\, traditional Middle Eastern dance\, followed by an interactive workshop led by Dabke Night — all welcome to join in. \n19:00 — Palestinian Dinner \nThe evening closes with a traditional Palestinian dinner\, prepared and served by Chef Nour\, accompanied by music. \nAll market proceeds go directly to individual families and community projects in Gaza and the Occupied Territories. Proceeds from the dinner and pick-up boxes support Nour Foundation’s work with Gaza’s most vulnerable communities. \nCome connect\, share stories\, and stand together. Let’s never stop talking about Palestine — and never stop supporting its people\, wherever they are. \nNour Foundation (BE) and Stichting Fragments of Palestine (NL) were founded by Nour el-Nono and Lenka Pollak in 2025 after working together on ground projects in Gaza. \nNour Foundation relies entirely on donations raised through events like this\, with 100% of all contributions going directly to Gaza\, ensuring that support reaches families and communities who need it the most. \nStichting Fragments of Palestine works closely with Nour Foundation and supports projects in Gaza\, but also Palestinians living in diaspora.
